IFR Pilot qualifications
Any pilot (PIC) wishing to operate under IFR at Sion shall be instructed and qualified for the local IFR procedures with an aircraft able to operate on the IGS Steep approach (initial 6° glide path)
Qualification A
DA/MDA min 8000'.
Pilot qualification type A : available trough our website with one theoretical self-instruction.

Qualification B
Authorized to execute IGS approach with DA/MDA lower than 8000'.
Pilot qualification type B : for this qualification the pilots shall be instructed and qualified for Sion with the local instruction program including one flight provided by the airport instructor.
