Charter and General Aviation Flights

Sion Airport offers a wide range of activities. Our experienced personnel take care of commercial charter flights as well as of general aviation flights in maximum safety. Our passenger service personnel and our ground handling service are qualified and multifunctional. Flexibility and motivation at every level guarantee a quality service that matches that matches the highest and most demanding standards for a personalized service. Our services include:

Ground Handling

Loading/unloading of baggage holds, cabin cleaning, deicing, ground power units (GPU), airstarter, towing, ladders, toilet service, drinking water, other forms of assistance, etc.

Operations Control

Our qualified (red cap) personnel ensures an efficient coordination during all ground operations and during the aircraft loading so as to guarantee turn around times according to planned schedules.

Facilitated Services

All standard equipment and services for ground operations are rapidly available. The apron for commercial aviation is directly linked to the airport terminal, thus ensuring highly comfortable and very fast assistance to passengers.

Aircraft Refueling

Aircraft are refueled from a truck at their parking positions in coordination with the other airport services.

Passenger Service

Passenger service includes check-in (5 counters), security controls, special assistance and VIP service.

The Airport Restaurant

The restaurant features a dining room, a brasserie as well as a large open air terrace, all directly overlooking the runway and the incomparable panorama of the Valais Alps. Wireless Internet access (WIFI) is also available.
